Children

Life is full of unpredictable changes. Children may express stress in different ways than you might expect. Therapy offers space to build a healthy foundation and lifelong skills. I utilize play therapy to help children express themselves, increase awareness of their feelings, work on their problems, try out different solutions, and learn more effective coping techniques.

Parent collaboration is also an important component of therapy. You are the expert on your child. We will work together to foster a deeper understanding of your child’s needs and experiences. Thus, creating the opportunity to help support and strengthen the parent-child relationship.

Some of the areas I can help with include:

Teens

The influential teenage years are the bridge between the dependence of childhood and the independence of adulthood. Adolescence can be a dynamic and challenging time for both teens and parents. Therapy offers a space to learn skills and techniques for becoming a confident, resilient, and self-reliant adult.
