About Marie Rogers, LMFT, LPCC

Marie Rogers, LMFT, LPCC

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and capable — often the steady one others rely on, even when they’re quietly overwhelmed.

I help people make sense of patterns that no longer feel aligned. Meaningful change happens when we feel understood, supported, and safe enough to be honest.

I see you as the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity and care as you come to understand yourself in ways that gently shift how you live and relate.

As a trauma-informed, strength-based therapist, I’m mindful of how early experiences shape the ways we cope and connect. Together, we explore what may be keeping you stuck and gently open up new ways of relating to yourself and others.

A Relational Approach

Change happens through connection, not pressure. My work is rooted in trust, respect, and empathy. We often repeat what we don’t have space to understand. When experiences go unexplored, life can feel overwhelming or disconnected.

Together, we make space for more of you to be present — without that familiar cringe when someone asks what you want. Over time, moments that once overwhelmed you begin to feel steadier, and you have more room to choose how you respond.

There’s no rush. With curiosity and compassion, we explore what once helped you cope but may no longer serve you. Some sessions focus on reflection; others include practical tools to support steadiness and regulation. The pace is thoughtful and responsive to what you need — you don’t have to perform or have everything figured out here.

Reflections

From those I’ve worked with:

“Marie’s steadiness created a kind of safety I hadn’t experienced before. I started responding differently — not because I was trying to fix myself, but because I finally understood what was going on. I felt supported without ever feeling pushed.” — Former Adult Client
“Working with Marie felt different from other therapy I’d tried. For the first time, I felt understood in a way I couldn’t quite put into words. Over time, I started catching myself when old reactions were taking over, and I had more space to choose how I responded. The changes actually stuck.” — Former Adult Client
